Omawumi, who is currently in America awaiting thearrival of her first child, has released a new single titled I Go Go. This is coming weeks after the release of the first single, If You Ask Me. Both singles are part of her on-coming sophomore album.

Unlike the first single which is a deep touching song telling the story of the abused child, the new single talks about a love-gone-sour story delivered on a well crafted reggae beat by Cobhams Asuquo.

It takes us through a painful heart break musical journey of a lover wondering how her sweet relationship went wrong but nevertheless ready to abandon the relationship and move on with her life if there is no remedy.

The new single is an evidence of Omawumi’s continuous and conscious efforts in refining her sounds. Her vocal delivery tells a lot about her musical maturity over the past few years. She is no doubt ready for fresh challenges in the nearest future. Omawumi released her debut album, Wonder Woman in November 2009 after the success of her first single, In The Music.

The album sold 100,000 copies in the first week of release and generated lots of positive reviews in the media.
