Former NFA Scribe Sani Toro has said it is too early to comment on the new Sports Minister Prof. Taoheed Adedoja, but believes he is a man who is always ready to learn .
“I think is too early to judge or comment on his office. Well, he is not a controversial figure that is one thing I know, but I believe when he makes mistakes, he quickly apologizes. There was a situation where he had to go to Kano to apologise over the way they handled the candidature of Galadima (for the CAF/FIFA seat).
“For the Nigeria Institute for Sports, NIS, I understand he has set up a committee to sit with the organization of that place. I think it is a good development, because that institution has been dormant for years . And I think it needs to be reactivated as quickly has possible.
“To be sincere, for the time being, nothing has happened in ours sports, instead of progress, it has been cancellation of various competitions .
For some time, there has been cancellation of so many events such as the U- 20 competition, basket ball competition and of course the Super Eagles friendly matches that have suffered so many cancellations.
