C-River signs Forestry Commission Law

Cross River State Government has signed the state’s Forestry Commission bill into law. This is considered a major step towards the sustenance and strategic management of the vast forest reserves in the state. Governor Liyel Imoke signed the bill into law after it was passed by the state House of Assembly.

‘Tour operators need endowment fund’

The Conservator General of the Nigerian National Park Service (NNPS), Alhaji Haruna Tanko Abubakar, has urged the Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation (NTDC) to establish an endowment fund for tour operators to finance their business besides having adequate knowledge of the products and services they are rendering.
