UGHELLI — THE National Association of Delta State Students (NADESSTU) has impeached its Secretary-General, Mr. Ejesi Yemi Stanley, and enjoined  Delta State government to refrain from having dealings with him.

The association, in a communiqué issued at the end of its meeting at the University of Abuja and made available to newsmen in Ughelli, Delta State, noted that the impeachment was consequent upon the 5-man committee it set up to investigate some allegations leveled against Stanley.

The communiqué read: “Consequent upon the report of the committee, the Senate has passed a vote of no confidence on the Association’s Secretary-General, Mr. Ejesi Yemi Stanley, and he stands impeached on a unanimous vote without counter view.”

It also disclosed that the association’s Public Relation’s Officer Mr. Godswill Akpododama has resigned.
