The name, Okpufu, may not ring a bell in anyone’s ear. Okpufu is the name of the pastoral village in Ntsurakpa autonomous community of Ebonyi State wherein the permanent site of Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki situates.

OHANAEZE Youths Council, OYC, has again praised Governors Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia, Dave Umahi of Ebonyi and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu States, for what it called their youth-friendly administration, saying the youths have endorsed them for 2019 ”to enable them continue the empowerment of the youths as leaders of tomorrow”.

ABAKALIKI-EBONYI State Students under the State’s Overseas Scholarship scheme pursuing various PhD degrees at different Universities in Diaspora especially in the United Kingdom, weekend, appealed to Governor David Umahi to disentangle them from the clutches of debts and embarrassment facing them in the foreign land.
