FOLLOWING President Bola Tinubu’s nationwide broadcast on the  protests against the economic hardship in the country, Chairman,  Senate Committee on Finance, Senator Sani Musa,  APC, Niger East has urged all citizens, particularly the nation’s vibrant and dynamic youth, to immediately embrace peace and suspend all ongoing protests.

PRESIDENT Bola Tinubu is currently meeting behind closed doors with heads of security and paramilitary operatives under the aegis of National Security Council.

Organisers of the nationwide protest against hardship, former Vice President Abubakar Atiku, Nobel Laureate, Prof. Wole Soyinka, and human rights activist, Femi Falana, SAN, have described as the hollow response of President Bola Tinubu to the protest which was on its fourth day yesterday.
