IN an attempt to ensure amicable resolution of the brewing crisis over who picks the governorship ticket of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Lagos State, President Muhammadu Buhari Monday evening met with the leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and the pioneer interim national chairman Chief Bisi Akande at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

As All Progressives Congress, APC approaches its governorship primaries billed tomorrow 1th October, the national leader of the party Ahmed Tinubu, Sunday averred that his goal for the primaries was to have a better Lagos which Nigerians would be proud of.

Ahead of All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship primary in Lagos State, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo,  Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and  the Governor’s Advisory Council, GAC, yesterday, endorsed  Mr  Babajide Sanwo-Olu for the party’s ticket for the 2019 elections.

Barely, less than 24 hours to the conduct if All Progressives Congress, APC, Gubernatorial primary, the National leader of the party, Asiwaju  Bola Tinubu is billed to address stakeholders and party faithful over issues of endorsement of aspirants and other sundry issues.

National Coordinator, Ijaw Monitoring Group, (IMG), Comrade Joseph Evah, has urged the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu, to handle with diplomacy the frosty relationship between him and Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State as the latter seeks second term to prevent the problem from having a boomerang effect on the political fortunes of APC in the state.
