The Minister of Defence, Badaru Abubakar, has assured the Nigerian military and other security agencies of President Bola Tinubu’s unflinching commitment to their welfare and working conditions.

President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday launched the Expatriate Employment Levy, EEL, a mandatory contribution imposed on organisations that employ expatriate workers in Nigeria. 

President Bola Tinubu explained on Tuesday that the decision taken to remove subsidy on petrol was a challenging one but necessary to ensure a transparent and accountable energy sector.

President Bola Tinubu says the administration will continue to put measures in place to bring succour to Nigerians.

He added that an accountable judicial system with integrity would strengthen democracy across West Africa.
