At least two persons were killed in an ambush in Talma Village, Ngel District of Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State.

The riders were seen conveying passengers and goods after 7 p.m., contrary to the government directive restricting commercial motorcycle operations within designated areas.

The attack, according to residents, occurred late Sunday night while people in the community were asleep.

The monarch was said to have sustained severe injuries during the attack and was immediately rushed to a nearby clinic for emergency treatment.
