The Catholic Bishop of Enugu has commended former Gov. Peter Obi on his edifying philosophies of life and appeal to other Nigerians to emulate him. Speaking yesterday at the requiem mass for Obi’s elder Sister at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Ukana, Enugu State, he said his idea of making burials modest and use the money that would have gone into it to add value to humanity was a lesson with learning.

FORMER Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi has called for attitudinal change towards education among Nigerians. He decried the subsisting situation of, “the lack of treating education with the seriousness it deserves by classifying money spent on it as expenditure rather than investment”.

THE former Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi has called on students to always remain focused in their endeavour at all times. Obi spoke on Thursday during his visit to St. Peter’s Secondary School, Garaku, Nasarawa State.

FORMER Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi has advocated an aspect of   the Chinese model of   electing their leaders, based on their past performances at lower levels of government for Nigeria.

The former Governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi has thrown his support to the recent endorsement of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State by the people of Anioma, describing it as a welcome development.
