AN Oyo State High Court sitting in Ibadan has again extended its interim order restraining any interference with the planned National Convention of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, scheduled for November 15 and 16, in Ibadan.

Senator Jarigbe Jarigbe, representing Cross River North, has defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

“The people have voted; they voted for their conscience. They voted for the man they believed in who can give the PDP victory at the polls.

He said if PDP is allowed to go ahead with the event, the former governor would suffer more; hence, it was necessary to grant the preservative order.
