THE Edo State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Thursday, commenced its statewide governorship campaign where it said it was sure of victory and urged security agencies to be fair to all participants in the exercise.

The PDP also described it as a victory for the rule of law against anti-democratic forces that sought to undermine and trample on the will of the people of Edo, as symbolised by the candidacy of Ighodalo.

The Peoples Democratic Party Governors’ Forum has called for the separation of offices of the accountant-general of the federation and that of the federal government, saying that remained the only way accountability could be guaranteed.
