BENIN CITY- OVER one thousand members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo state, led by the national President of the Road Transport Employees Association (RTEAN), Alhaji Musa Isiwele and retired Assistant Commissioner of Police, Mr. Roland Omatoje, have dumped the party for the All Progressives Congress, party, APC, citing what they described as the developmental strides of the governor Godwin Obaseki-led administration in the state as reasons.

Following the commissioning of an electricity project built by Hon John Machie, Anambra east local government liaison officer, commissioned by Hon Obinna Emenaka in Nando, Anambra state, report has it that the former Anambra PDP legal adviser, Bars Eugene Agbasionwe with his supporters has dumped Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and defected to All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, saying ‘thank God am relieved and out from evil party.’
