Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag said his sides are “broken” and “disappointed” after their FA Cup final defeat to bitter rivals Manchester City but he is proud of his men.

“The Premier League condemns the chanting heard during today’s match between Manchester City and Liverpool. The League is treating the issue of tragedy chanting as a priority and as a matter of urgency.”

Phil Foden opened the scoring with a stunning solo goal for City in the 15th minute, Bernardo Silva scored the home side’s second goal three minutes after coming on as a sub.
