THE presidential candidate of New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, Engr. Rabiu Kwankwaso has denied congratulating Asiwaju Bola Tinubu after he was declared elected as the next president by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

According to the results announced by the returning officer of Adamu Jibril, APC scored 16,773 votes while NNPP scored 25,072 votes. PDP scored 2,477 votes and Labour got 202 votes.

Presidential candidate of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), Rabiu Kwankwaso has confirmed attacks on some of his supporters during his homecoming rally in Kano on Thursday.

“But if you elect me as president of this country and other NNPP candidates, we agreed to end the policy and allow you to take all your old naira notes to banks for deposit and other transactions.”

“So, the issue of Kwankwaso is stepping down or merging with Tinubu or stepping down for Atiku is absolute nonsense. It’s not going to happen. It’s just the strategy of some mischievous people. As I speak with you, he is on the road, he is talking to people.”
