Itsekiri Progressive Union, IPU, a socio- political group in Delta State, has said it will support any credible candidate with Itsekiri interest at heart in the forthcoming elections.

The immediate-past governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan has reiterated the fact that he has the capacity to give good representation to Delta South Senatorial District at the National Assembly come 2019.

A proposal has been made for the Itsekiri nation to hold an all inclusive summit to discuss issues critical to its development.
