KATSINA—FLOOD from a  downpour has claimed the lives of a little boy and a woman in Malumfashi and Kusada Local Government areas of Katsina State, respectively.

Adamawa State Emergency Management Agency ( ADSEMA) said flood had killed 10 persons and displaced scores of others, following the recent heavy rainfall recorded in the state.

BAYELSA State Deputy Governor, Rear Admiral Gboribiogha John Jonah (rtd) has reiterated the need to build Flood Shelter Stations in all the Local Government Areas of the state to accommodate displaced persons, in the event of flooding in the state this year.
