EKITI— Two men, who claimed to be President Muhammadu Buhari’s private security aides, were at the weekend, arrested at the Afao-Ekiti country home of the Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose for presenting themselves as staff of the Office of the National Security Adviser, ONSA, with influence over the report of the military panel set up to investigate alleged involvement in partisan politics by some soldiers and officers during the 2014/2015 governorship election conducted in some states such as Ekiti, Osun, Rivers and Akwa-Ibom.

Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekit State has hailed the re-election of the Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson, describing it as a demonstration of the resolve of Bayelsa people to choose their own governor and resist imposition of a governor on them by the powers that be in Abuja.

Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State, on Friday, challenged President Muhammadu Buhari to direct the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to charge the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh to court if the commission was sure of evidences of fraud against him, saying “the EFCC appears to be operating a system in which an accused person is first arrested, detained endlessly while the anti-corruption agency goes about looking for evidence.”

Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State, has described his wife, Feyisetan, as a great source of support and God’s grace he enjoys as a politician and the leader of the current administration in the state.

The mother of the first baby, Mrs Hassan also thanked the wife of Ekiti State governor for her motherly care and gift presented to her baby.
