Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State, on Friday, challenged President Muhammadu Buhari to direct the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to charge the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh to court if the commission was sure of evidences of fraud against him, saying “the EFCC appears to be operating a system in which an accused person is first arrested, detained endlessly while the anti-corruption agency goes about looking for evidence.”

Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State, has described his wife, Feyisetan, as a great source of support and God’s grace he enjoys as a politician and the leader of the current administration in the state.

The mother of the first baby, Mrs Hassan also thanked the wife of Ekiti State governor for her motherly care and gift presented to her baby.

Despite the economic downturn caused by the drop in global oil prices, as well as the steep reduction in monthly allocation to states from the federation account, Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State, has promised to continue to prosecute programmes that will make life more meaningful for Ekiti people, within the ambits of his administration’s six-point development programmes.

The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ekiti State has challenged Governor Ayodele Fayose to tell the people of the state how much he got from the N1.4 billion allegedly collected from the Office of the National Security Adviser by a former minister from the South-West, now at large, to prosecute the controversial Ekiti governorship election of June 2014.

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Ekiti state has described as childish, the way the state chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, is ‘peddling falsehood’ citing the claim by the opposition that the State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose’s trip to Dubai cost the government N250 million.

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has described Sunday and Monday’s Boko Haram attacks in Borno and Adamawa states as disheartening and an indictment on the All Progressives Congress, APC, Federal Government, saying that the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed must explain to Nigerians how the same Boko Haram he said had been “technically defeated” could carry out such daring and deadly attacks.

The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ekiti State has accused Governor Ayodele Fayose of profligacy and insensitivity to workers’ plight, saying his constant trips pose serious threat to the state’s lean purse.
