Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has said Nigeria would be doomed if President Mohammed Buhari is given a second term in office, alleging that Buhari himself is being governed by a cabal in power.

Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has advised the Federal Government to stop ruling the country with double standards.

The leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has commended the Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike and his Ekiti State counterpart, Ayo Fayose, for visiting Benue state and extending assistance to victims of the recent violent attacks and other internally displaced persons in the state. 

Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has accused Justice Okon Abang of a Federal High Court, Abuja of acting more like a persecutor in the case of former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Olisa Metuh, saying that he  has ridiculed Nigeria by causing an accused to be brought to court on a stretcher.

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose has described the comment made on Channels Television Sunrise Daily today, by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO); Mr. Jimoh Moshood, describing the Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State as a “drowning man” as an insult on all the governors in Nigeria, saying the police authority must retract the comment and tender an unreserved apology to Governor Ortom, the people of Benue State and the Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF).
