Electricity workers shut Ikeja DISCO HQ

PROTESTING electricity workers yesterday shut and crippled business and other activities at the headquarters of Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company, Ikeja DISCO.

Electricity tariff rises by 142% in 10 years

SINCE the public hearing on estimated Billing on June 5 2018, I have noticed a sudden and desperate barage of press interviews granted by Discos and those who are reluctant to do the right thing in the industry. The question they refuse to address is the simple one that is it right, moral or even legal in a service industry to bill consumers for services not rendered or for power not consumed?  I have heard and read so many arguments from the Discos and remain unconvinced as none of their arguments are compelling.
