AS part of plans to kick off the state government’s urban renewal programme in Benin City, Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State, weekend, met with traders and landlords around Ring Road area of the city, declaring the state government's intention to end what he described as the current “madness” being witnessed in Benin City.

Obaseki to establish welding, fabrication village
GOVERNOR Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has disclosed plans by the state government to collaborate with the Nigerian Institute of Welding, NIW, to establish a welding and fabrication village in the state with a view to imparting welding skills on some of the over 40,000 unemployed youths already on the data base of the state government.
