The Court of Appeal, sitting in Benin has upheld the judgment of the Edo State Election Petition Tribunal which earlier dismissed the petition of Young Democratic Party, YDP, and its governorship candidate, Nurudeen Inwanfero, against the declaration of Mr. Godwin Obaseki, of All Progressives Congress, APC, as winner of the September 28, 2016 governorship election in the state.
