All Progressive Congress, APC, Katsina State chapter and the President’s homestate has on Saturday endorsed President Muhammadu Buhari and the State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari for second term.

By Anthony Ogbonna Northern elders under the aegis, North Elders’ Forum (NEF) have said that the President of the Senate, Dr. Bukola Saraki saved Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari from being embarrassed in court by the secessionist group, the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, over its proscription and categorisation as a terrorist group by the Nigerian government.

Following President Muhammadu Buhari’s call in his speech at the 72nd United Nations General Assembly session, NigeriaUNGA17, the United Nations, on Friday, estimated 200 million dollars to help Rohingya Muslims refugees who have fled to Bangladesh from Myanmar in “massive numbers” to escape a bloody military campaign.

SEVERAL people have grumbled to me – and in various public fora – about the speech Mr President gave at the United Nations General Assembly, UNGA, earlier on this week…on the grounds that he barely focussed on Nigeria and mostly talked about other African countries and the rest of the world.

The Edo State Government has announced the immediate proscription of the state’s chapter of Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN).
