Maj.-Gen. Musa Yusuf has taken over as new General Officer Commanding (GOC) 6 Division, Nigerian Army, Port Harcourt, the division’s Spokesman, Col. Aminu Iliyasu, said.

The Nigerian Army Operation Safe Haven (OPSH) in Plateau State has said that the report that the state has been thrown into a state of fear, following alleged threats issued by the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) in the state over an alleged attack on their kinsmen and the rustling of 350 cows belonging to their people was ‘unfounded, misplaced and out of reality and should therefore be disregarded’.

The Nigerian Army says it has recovered 63 bags of  cannabis sativa (Indian hem) from a notorious gang in a forest in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State.
