Purge your party of corrupt persons, PDP tells APC

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, yesterday, dismissed the perceived anti-corruption posture of the present administration as deceptive, saying the government is deliberating sweeping under the carpet grave allegations of corruption committed by those who helped it to power.

They’re talking more about politics and less on commonsense economics

The good news about Nigeria is that life is never dull – there are always moments of drama and fun. The movement of the former Vice-President, Atiku Abubakir from the Peoples‘ Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Party (APC) has been described by Atiku as normal in Nigeria‘s political evolution. It should be recalled with considerable amusement that the former Vice-President is not new in the game of seeking political green pastures. Perhaps, he is an adept in such a game of political opportunism. Who would not seek the prime political prize in a country where ‘everything goes‘?

No going back to PDP —Rep Uchendu

Hon. Andrew Uchendu was the Leader of the members of the new Peoples Democratic Party (nPDP) in the House of Representatives amongst whom 37 later defected to the All Progressive Congress (APC). He is also the Chairman, Committee on Public Service Matters of the House. Uchendu, who represents the Ikwerre/Emohua Federal Constituency of Rivers State, in this interview, says there is no going back to the PDP.
