Barely three weeks after joining the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. David Umbugadu has resigned from the ruling party, declaring that his political future lies with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Yilwatda and Basiru have been returned as national chairman and national secretary of the APC, respectively.
