FORMER Vice Chancellor, Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, Kwara State, Professor Abdulrazaq Aderemi Abubakare, has said that despite the clamour in some quarters that the governorship position in Osun State be zoned to the Osun West Senatorial District, where he hails from, that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) should look out for the best among its aspirants to present as candidate, so as not to sacrifice merit in the governance of the state.

WARRI: A presidential hopeful on the platform of All Progressive Congress, APC, Alhaji Mumakai Unagha has   accused Chief Great Ogboro and Senator Ovie Omoagege of allegedly taking steps to destabilize the party in Delta state.

The re-elected Chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Enugu State, Dr. Ben Nwoye, has accused the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Geoffrey Onyeama, and Special Assistant to President Muhammad Buhari on Justice Reform, Mrs. Juliet Nwangwu of allegedly using political thugs to disrupt the just-concluded APC congress in the state.

AT the last count, eight states of the federation have drawn up parallel Executives to counter what some people called “authentic Executives” of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, during the recently concluded congresses. One of the most unbelievable states where this happened is Lagos. That some people, albeit members of the APC in Lagos State, could challenge the supremacy of the de-facto Jagaban of the South-West politics would remain one of the wonders of modern Nigerian political history.

GOVERNOR Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State, yesterday, accused the governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, of plans to implicate him and some leaders of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, with assassinations in the state.
