A member of the House of Representatives, Alhaji Husain Kangiwa, says the All Progressives Congress (APC) victory in Saturday’s Ekiti governorship election is a testimony of the party’s popularity in the country.

WITH the declaration that  Kayode Fayemi has won the gubernatorial election in Ekiti, APC spin-doctors went into overdrive.   Lai Mohammed, well-loved by all and sundry for his vacuous bombasts, came out shouting on the rooftops that the Ekiti election is a referendum on the Buhari administration.   However, the honourable minister needs a gentle reminder that Buhari was not on the ballot in Ekiti.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has advised President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressives Congress (APC) not to be deceived about the election in Ekiti state, saying the rigged election does not mean acceptance by Nigerians.

Mr Kunle Oyatomi, the Director of Publicity and Strategy of the All Progressives Congress in Osun urged members to disregard the alleged suspension of both the chairman, Gboyega Famodun and the secretary, Razak Salinsile.

The All Progressives Congress APC has reacted to reports that the Benue state Governor, Dr Samuel Ortom has left its ranks, saying it has not received a formal communication to that effect.
