A Federal High Court sitting in Asaba, Delta State, Wednesday ordered the National Working Committee, NWC of the All Progressives Congress, APC to maintain status quo pending the determination of the suit brought before it by the Chief Cyril Ogodo led faction of the party in the State.

AWKA—AN attempt by some people to jettison the zoning arrangement in Aguata federal constituency in Anambra State is tearing the All Progressives Congress, APC, apart in the area. Aguaata is the constituency of Senator Andy Uba and Chief Chris Uba, the two brothers vying for the senatorial seat of APC and Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, respectively for Anambea South senatorial zone.

The National Working Committee NWC of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC has nullified the reported suspension of one of its members, Comrade Mustapha Salihu by the North East zonal chapter of the party.

SINCE  the inception of the country’s political party system, primaries have been conducted virtually in all the political parties to nominate their candidates for elections. These intra-party elections have been conducted on the field either by direct or indirect primaries or by consensus reached by leaders and aspirants vying for the same position.

A chieftain of  All Progressives Congress, APC,  in  Delta Central Senatorial District, Mr. Robert Omote,  has called on his party to give its governorship ticket  to Delta North Senatorial District  in the interest of justice and equity
