The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has described the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as a ‘coalition of Nigeria’s most inept politicians’, saying the party is drowning in confusion.

Concerned residents and stakeholders of Ibadan North have raised serious concerns over alleged attempts to impose a candidate in the upcoming All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries, calling for a transparent and democratic process that reflects the will of the people.

“The July 1 coalition declaration and the July 2 unveiling of the ADC have rattled the ruling party. It is now obvious that the Tinubu administration, having lost the trust of the Nigerian people, cannot withstand the pressure of a united and credible opposition. But rather than correct its ways, it has resorted to its old playbook of destabilising opposition parties.”

Ahead of the 2027 general elections, stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa North Senatorial District have unanimously endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term and called on Governor Abdullahi Sule to contest for the Senate seat representing the district.

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, yesterday, said the country was practically ‘dead’ before President Bola Tinubu assumed office.
