SOME stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Anambra State yesterday tackled the Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige over what they described as his distorted account of the crisis that trailed last weekend’s ward congresses of the party.

THE Anambra State Police command has arrested one Christopher Okadigbo (52) suspected to be responsible for the murder of his mother, Mrs. Rosaline Okadigbo, 82, a widow at Nando in Anambra East local government area for alleged ritual purposes.

CONFUSION trailed weekend’s ward congress of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Anambra State, with the party’s candidate in last year’s governorship election, Dr Tony Nwoye accusing the Minister of Labour and Productivity, Senator Chris Ngige of a plot to hijack the party in the state.

ANAMBRA State government warned, weekend, that it would henceforth forcefully acquire disputed lands in communities fighting over ownership of such lands as a way of ending land disputes among communities in the state.

BASKING in the euphoria of successful election and presentation of  Oluoha Thomas Obidigwe as its new traditional ruler, the Ihiala community in Ihiala Local Government Area, Anambra State, yesterday urged the state government to embark on repairs and rehabilitation of some dilapidated roads linking towns and villages in the area.
