Yuletide: Emeka Offor reaches out to 1,689 widows in Anambra community

Determined to ensure that no family in Oraifite, Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State spends money to buy rice during the Christmas and New Year celebrations, the 1,689 widows in Orifite received one bag of rice each from Sir Emeka Offor Foundation, SEOF, during its annual rice distribution to the widows in the community.

Anambra commences review of court rules

ONITSHA—IN a bid to ensure a quicker and accurate dispensation of justice in Anambra State, the state Chief Judge, Justice Peter Umeadi and the state judiciary have embarked on the review of the state’s 2006 High Court Rules and 1991 Magistrate Court Rules. The CJ and the judiciary are also using the opportunity to review the rules establishing the state Multi-Door Court House.
