APGA expels Gov Obi, Umeh, Shinkafi

The protracted leadership crisis rocking the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, deepened yesterday as the INEC recognised faction of the party led by Chief Chekwas Okorie, expelled Governor Peter Obi of Anambra, factional chairman, Chief Victor Umeh and former national secretary, Alhaji Sani Shinkafi, from the party at its convention in Abuja, despite a Federal High Court order. However, in a swift reaction, Chief Umeh, said that Chief Okorie risked time in jail for flouting the orders of the court, barring him from hosting the convention of the party.
