By Chinyere Amalu ABUJA—AS the Nigeria Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC) gets ready for the 2009 Pilgrimage exercise to Israel, it has vowed to carry out pregnancy test at the point of departure for every woman within child bearing age that is participating in the exercise.

Just recently, a husband and wife were kidnapped and some of the kidnappers were arrested too. What happened was that they went to the house and kidnapped the wife, but the family did not report to the police immediately.

He added: “The problem we are having too is that the officials in the Nigerian Embassy here are making matters worse for us. What they do is to collect money individually from our relations before they will go and ask for the release of anyone instead of seeking for the release of all of us like the Kenyan Government and others did.

They also called on the Federal and state governments to open the waterways, demilitarize the kingdom and resettle the displaced children, women and the burnt communities in Gbaramatu Kingdom to achieve the desired peace for the sake of our collapsing economy.
