By Emmanuel Aziken Abuja—Senators  from Edo State have broken ranks over their earlier collective opposition to the nomination of Jude Ise-Idehen, a member of the Edo State House of Assembly, as the state’s representative on the board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

The NAIG condemned gesture which it claimed was a case of robbing Peter to pay Paul.

Akpabio, they said, deserved praises “for his commitment and leadership; his vigorous pursuit of programs and activities aimed at providing basic education for Akwa Ibom youth, and for accelerating the pace of infrastructural and rural development in Akwa Ibom State”.

Today, I promise we will give you a new market. Somebody will go with you now to show you so that whoever wants to buy second hand cloths can come there. Everybody must get space to trade there without molestation. but you must promise me that everybody must go there to sell.

“They must know that no matter what happens in the state after crisis, an Ijaw man will still be the governor and the issue of impeachment is not like the one conducted under Obasanjo’s government. It will be cumbersome and not needed in the state.”
