Vanguard learnt that the robbers, who stormed the place at about 3am yesterday, gained access to the building after climbing the fence and entered the security post where they ordered the security man at gun point to surrender all the money and jewelries in his possession.

The letter delivered to Mrs Clinton through the US Ambassador to Nigeria, Ms Robin Renée Sanders also stated that “our investigation reveals strong and credible evidence to suggest that most of the recovered funds may have been re-stolen, misused or mismanaged. Rather than dedicating the nation’s resources and wealth to achieve and advance freedom, equality, and dignity of all Nigerians, high level government officials continue to exploit and use the resources for their personal gain.”

The minister, who was represented by Mrs. Victoria Faluyi said this at the Organisation Mondi ale Pour l’Education Pre’scolaire (OMEP), the world organisation for early childhood education’s World Assembly and International Conference/Workshop held in Lagos Airport Hotels during the week.

He regretted that so much of the nation”s resources are being spent by government on security on a daily basis but yet ,insecurity looms large that even after the incident, nothing happened to the key persons under whose nose these security lapses occurred.
