Kidnappers of medical doctor demand N8m ransom

Dr. Asogun, a Consultant Surgeon and Head of Department of Surgery, Central Hospital, Benin City, and Medical Director of Asogun Specialist Clinic, Benin, was abducted by unknown gunmen while attending to a patient in his clinic.
Family sources told newsmen on the telephone that the kidnappers allowed them to speak with the doctor for a few minutes before the ransom demand was made.
