YOUTHS of various communities across Akoko-Edo Local Government Area in Edo State have been urged by the Afenmai Youth Council (AYC) not to allow themselves to be used as thugs in the Assembly re-run election slated for 22nd of this month by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

AGAINST the backdrop of grumblings by some political appointees in Ondo State that their expectations are not met in the various portfolios given to them, the governor, Dr Olusegun Mimiko yesterday asked those not satisfied to resign forthwith.

FORMER Ondo State Governor, Dr. Olusegun Agagu, has denied the allegations of profligacy levelled against him by Mimiko. The former governor, who ruled the state for six years, said all the allegation levelled against him and the Peoples Democratic Party in the state were a calculated attempt aimed at discrediting his administration.
