Imo State Government has lamented that although the Nigeria/Biafra war ended 40 years ago, there are still vestiges of the war as exemplified by the landmines, unexploded ordinances and explosive remnants in several places in the South East and South-South.

CONCERNED eminent stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Ebonyi State, comprising former party chairmen in the state, Obinna Ogba, Mr. Idu Igarawey and other former office holders during the eight years governance of Dr. Sam Egwu, have called on the national leadership of the party to intervene in the brewing factionalization of the party, rather than play the ostrich.
