IN his lead paper titled: “African Pentecostalism, civic role and social capital engineering”, a United Kingdom based historian of the University of Edinburgh and University of Bayreuth, Princeton Theological Seminary, Dr. Emmanuel Anim averred that in the face of dwindling economic and failing welfare systems, Pentecostal Churches are demonstrating increasing social relevance by redefining their public role in ways that complement basic religious-spiritual tasks.

NECROLATRY is a branch of Idolatry, that gives so much sentimental reverence for the dead, or for dead bodies. The burial of Moses by God in Deuteronomy 34:5-6, was to deliver the children of Israel from this terrible sin of necrolatry and more-so from the sin of relicolatry, which is another branch of Idolatry, that gives reverence to the relics of dead saints of God, by paying pilgrimage or homage to their sepulchers.

THERE is need for people to move forward in their deeds and examine how big or great they are. In view of the above, let us examine two statements or expressions made in the scripture by Pontius Pilate and Jesus Christ.

Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven (Luke 6:37).

In our last treatment, we laid the foundations for the Redemptive and Covenant implications of this Name. I trust that the Lord had started giving you testimonies by now. We will continue and conclude on the mysteries of this Name in this session.

IT is pertinent to let people know particularly the believers that serving God diligently is fundamental. There are some things people need to know and do them in the process of serving God. These things need to be emphasised to that people can embark on journey with God and see His favour.

THE Redeemed Christian Bible College, RCBC, the training wing of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, hosted a three-day annual International Conference on African Pentecostalism where experts from different parts of the continent agreed that, following the failure of governments in Africa, the Church is stepping in to positively impact the lives of people affected by societal ills such as poverty, illiteracy and loneliness.

We now come to another very important Name of God which, in Redemption terminology, encompasses the Merciful and Benevolent acts of God to humanity, and hence, motivates us to fully trusts in Him implicitly, and without any reservations whatsoever.

The request by Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria to establish Fulani vigilance team in the South East has received knocks from the General Overseer of   Greater Liberation City Church,  GLC  Ojodu ,Lagos , Pastor Chris Okafor, who described it as agenda to islamise the country.

John 1:16 “And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.”

IT is worthy to praise, adore, appreciate, thank, honour, exalt and glorify the omnipotence God because His mercy remains forever.

We commenced the treatment of the Name Jehovah Adonai in our last serial, and it stirred up our faith and worship of God as our Sovereign Father, who has got the whole world, and consequently our own lives and times in His Hands. Jesus Christ is God’s ultimate revelation for this Name, because in Isaiah 9:6, one of His Covenant Names is The Everlasting Father. He is the Ancient Ruler, whose Kingdom shall have no end. (Luke 1:33)

IN this revelation, John the Revelator saw a beast, rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and 10 horns and he saw upon his horns, 10 crowns and upon his heads, the names of blasphemy. In verse 2b, John saw that the dragon (the devil) gave his power and his seat and his authority to the beast, so that, through him, the people would begin to worship him (the Dragon, the devil).

JOHN 8:32 “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
