Gosa community on Airport Road, Abuja was shut down for Israel Ibeleme Foundation when the foundation awarded scholarships to five outstanding less privileged students of the Junior Secondary (JSS) School in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT. The 4hour ceremony was packed full with activities that wrapped the school with over 900 students to a stand-still which was attended by the wife of Mr Chibuike Ameachi, Minister of Transportation, Mrs Judith Ameachi laced with cultural dances, quiz competition, talk show, among others.
OXFAM calls FG’s attention over plight of 515,000 children in Chad Basin
AN international aid and humanitarian organisation, OXFAM, has called on the Federal Government to urgently tackle the plight of 515, 000 children in Lake Chad Basin. The call was made by OXFAM through its Campaigns Manager for the Lake Chad Basin, Aurore Mathieu, following a summit on investing in the Lake Chad Basin held in Chad’s capital, N’Djamena recently.
