IF it is true, that President Muhammadu Buhari, PMB, will appoint his ministers, in two months’ time as reported, he must take his good time to look into the Ministry of Mines and steel, with the sole intention to breaking the strong lid, which they have used to cover and hold our solid minerals in captivity and bondage since the past over 20 years.

I AM tempted to dance naked for the new regime in Nigeria under the leadership of the venerable Muhammadu Buhari. Why? I am inebriated by the grandiose social safety net programmes that are about to be rolled out in the near future for the betterment of the ordinary Nigerian!

One of the promises of President Muhammadu Buhari during electioneering is to declare his assets and liabilities to stimulate other political appointees to do same.

THE journalist is possibly the most endangered professional in today’s Nigeria. When I was growing up, the teacher had that cap. I heard it a lot of times that the reward of teachers awaited them in heaven, I guess we should hand it over to the journalist now.

Upon learning about the unfortunate demise of Emma Ezeazu, I wrote on my facebook wall on May 18, 2015 as follows: “The news of the death of Emma Ezeazu, NANS President in 1986 is saddening and shocking. Emma’s presidency witnessed the continuation of mass students’ resistance to education commercialization and violation of students’ rights. He played his part when it mattered. May his soul rest in peace”.
