THE almighty attitude of some governments in this country is amazing. It appears they feel that governments have absolute and unquestionable powers over those they govern. And their decision or pronouncements must always be final.

YOUR Excellency, I wish to use this medium to write to you because no body or media would suffice to properly contextualize the issues which you and your contemporaries have raised recently in the national media, issues to which I would want to comment upon and advise you.

ON the back page of THISDAY Newspapers of Friday June 8, 2012, Nasir El-Rufai in a piece entitled “Anambra’s Budget of Misplaced Priorities” displayed what was in fact a misplaced aggression against Anambra State – her Governor, Mr. Peter Obi and her people.

I read President Goodluck Jonathan’s speech on Democracy Day in the Vanguard Newspaper Online and I felt so disappointed. Such is the theatrics that have been going on in Edo State in the name of electioneering.
