FROM independence in 1960 till today, Nigeria has turned out 99.9% corruptionists and psychotically corrupt leadership at all levels, so much so that corruption has become the domineering mantra and ingrained culture of Nigerians. Nobody is free, no, not one is free.

I do not share the view of those who assume that by some kind of miracle, in the shape of electoral-college defections, Hillary Clinton would still, on the strength of winning the popular vote, supplant Donald Trump as US 2016 President-elect.

THE All Progressives Congress, APC, just affirmed its acceptability as a party to reckon with in the modern day politics of Nigeria through its victory in Edo State. This was no easy feat as the South-South and South-East states have always shown undying love for former President Goodluck Jonathan and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP over the years.

During the recently concluded gubernatorial exercise in Edo State, the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, went about electioneering in what can only be described as the most execrable manner imaginable. It was palpably evident that they had little, if any, regard for Godwin Obaseki, the newly inaugurated Governor of Edo State. I had, at the time, found this conceitedness to be obviously typical and rather annoying indeed. I had wondered why PDP leaders were disrespecting a man who undisputedly stood head and shoulders above them intellectually.

My proposed solution to our foreign exchange crisis, if followed will solve the following of our problems -It will restore and stabilise the naira and bring our economy out of recession -Will make the black market redundant -Will prevent corrupt official from siphoning public funds out of the country -Will reduce all the inefficient bureaucracy […]
