By every stretch of the imagination, this brilliant professor of Pharmacy, former imparter of knowledge to brilliant and budding minds at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and a woman who has helped save millions of Nigerians from unwarranted health complications and undeserved death at the hands of fake drug barons, and the current image-maker for the nation, needs no introduction, either here or in any part of the world.

THE inability of the Federal government to meet the 6,000 megawatts target it set for itself early last year, has once again cast doubt about government’s sincerity about solving the power problem in the country.

NOW that the Anambra gubernatorial election has come and gone and a winner announced, I guess congratulations to the winner, Mr. Peter Obi, is in order.

ON February 1, 2010, the Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency, Senator Liyel Imoke, appended his signature to the State’s 2010 Appropriation Bill. With this executive act of assent, the Bill in effect becomes law.

AT the last count, 17 out of the 25 candidates who contested the February 6, 2010, Anambra State governorship election, have conceded victory to the APGA’s Peter Obi.

It’s been 1000 days since the present administration in the state took on the mantle of leadership to steer the ship of Lagos to loftier heights.
