Oweilaemi should feel obliged to abandon his two policies and draw inspiration from Yew’s Singapore

I read with disgust, the aforementioned full-page advertorial by a group under the name of Benin National Council, published in the Vanguard of June 19, 2018.

Governor Rochas  Okorocha of Imo State  recent yelling to the effect that no governor in Imo State’s history has either equaled or surpassed his records which enjoyed screaming headlines in the media has expectedly opened  the Pandora’s box, triggering  several questions: what informed this obvious misinformation, distortion of facts and awful attempts to re-write records  of governance and public administration in Imo? 

OLOROGUN Moses Taiga, son of the respected Joseph Taiga Zeze, an Ijaw man from Kiagbodo who currently presents himself as a factional President General, PG, of the Urhobo Progressive Union recently recruited two mendacious surrogates, one Francis Ewherido  and a politician by name Onokpasa, to gloss his history by trying vainly to re-write the patrilineal structure and nature of Urhobo society and history in their seperate articles titled: “Delta:season of omuru and umuta” and “why Taiga is solidly urhobo” .

with the recent pronouncement of president Muhammadu Buhari, now every June 12, all Nigerians will have some spare family time to reflect on the fact that the power of democracy is always with the people, and that no matter how long it takes, the will of the majority shall always prevail.
