When President Muhammadu Buhari pulled out his kinsman, Lawal Daura, from retirement on July 2, 2015, to replace Ita Ekpenyong as Director General of the Department of State Services (DSS), eyebrows were raised.

It was a very sad day in   Nigeria. Looking at the crop of politicians we have produced in our short history of democratic governance, I will say that I am not impressed.  They are insensitive, selfish and myopic politicians with no vision for the development of the country and its people. It is all about power. The youths need to wake up  and challenge this lawlessness for the sake of our unborn generations.

In a piece titled, Re: The Coward Alleged as Akpabio, Agila disagrees with former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani Kayode (aka FFK) over the said statement against Akpabio.

THEY did everything possible to correct that mistake and eventually took the power back. Whether the insurgency in the North East is a direct fallout of how bad they wanted it is an issue for another discussion.

As a general rule, it is expected that old age has the tendency to temper man’s proclivity to want to dominate others at all cost and by all means, and compels more sober and careful disposition before taking actions.
