NO governor in Lagos State has engaged and involved communities as Gover Akinwunmi  Ambode  has done in the last three years.

The race for the 2019 presidential election has begun in earnest.  In the All Progressives Congress, APC, the candidature of the incumbent president, Muhammadu Buhari, is a fait accompli.  Nevertheless, four aspirants, with little or no political weight, want to square up with him at the party’s primary. This will give the process a semblance of egalitarianism.

First, the Federal Government should constitute a committee whose members will not be biased. They should not be those with political and selfish interest. This implies bringing in tested and trusted professionals, who know what it takes to overhaul a security agency. We will get good results but if the government uses the wrong people, Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS will remain what it is.
