Apart from Christianity, all other known religions and faiths preach the need for humanity to live in peace without which adherents are less likely to make meaningful contributions to existence.

His primacy was informed by the need to consolidate the giant strides the state had recorded with the celebrated Anambra State Integrated Development Strategy [ANIDS].

13 days to the Anambra  election, the electorate are bracing up  for a battle of Titanic proportions. Not only is there a star-studded line-up of heavyweight candidates for the poll, each of whom is truly distinguished in his own right, there is the obvious desperation of the APC- led federal government to “capture” the state which, against all odds, has remained the one true bastion of Emeka Ojukwu’s All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). To further complicate the situation, there is in addition the widely reported iron determination of a former governor of the state to teach the incumbent, Willie Obiano, the lesson of his lifetime, over issues  arising from Obiano’s Campaigns and subsequent election in 2013.

The final battle for Anambra State is barely three weeks away. November 18, the day for the election, is almost here.

The saying that death is an inevitable end became a reality on Wednesday 18th October 2017, as the day will ever remain indelible in our minds and in particular, in the minds of the husband, children, brothers, mother and in the lives of all those who had an encounter with this great jewel and quintessential daughter of Udeh’s family of Idumu-Omu quarters, Onitcha-Ugbo Agatha Ndidi Osakwe (nee Udeh), and family of her husband, Dr. Osadebe Osakwe, from Umuolo quarters also in Onitcha-Ugbo, Aniocha north local government area of Delta State. Though Agatha died and went to meet her maker at a very young age, her memories will continue to linger for a very long time as a result of her numerous contributions both to the Christendom, humanity and that of her entire household.

In the early 1960′s Chief Obafemi Awolowo, the first Premier of the Western Region, lost his first son and years later his second son and second daughter were cut short in the prime of their lives.

The recent todo on the issue of tithing which was sparked up by popular On Air Personality, Daddy Freeze, is actually a sad reflection of the state of Christianity in Nigeria specifically and the Black world in general.

The frequency of scandals bedeviling the Buhari administration in recent times would require an app to keep track of them. It certainly is beyond human capacity to do so.
